Undersheriff
Brian Conser
Undersheriff Brian Conser has been a member of the Will County Sheriff’s Office since 1996. As a Deputy, he was assigned to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and Patrol Division. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2007 and to Lieutenant in 2014. As a Sergeant and Lieutenant, he was a supervisor in the Patrol Division and in the Courthouse.
Undersheriff Conser graduated from Governors State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received an Associate’s Degree in Logistics from the Community College of the Air Force. He is also a graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, Supervision of Police Personnel.
Chief Deputy | Warden – Adult Detention
Dave Adams
Chief Deputy Dave Adams began his career with the Will County Sheriff’s Office in 2001. He was awarded the Outstanding Correctional Officer Award by the Illinois Sheriff’s Association. He became a member of the Emergency Response Team in 2003 and much later became the Team Commander. He was promoted to Correctional Sergeant in 2006 and Correctional Lieutenant in 2014. He earned the Correctional Supervisor of the Year award as well as various Unit Citations and Meritorious Service awards. In 2016 he was promoted to Deputy Chief of Support Services and was tasked with working with the jail’s Medical Services provider to navigate the facility through COVID-19. In 2021, he became the Deputy Chief of Operations for the Adult Detention Facility.
Deputy Chief Adams is a graduate of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, Supervision of Police Personnel. He has been a Field Training Officer, Master Firearms and Control Tactics instructor for the department and previously taught firearms and tactics at a local police academy. He oversaw all training for ADF personnel while he was assigned as Training Sergeant. He is also proud to be a founding member of the Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard.
Deputy Chief – Enforcement
Mark Kedziora
Deputy Chief Mark Kedziora began his career in Law Enforcement with the Will County Sheriff’s Office in 2001. As a Deputy, he was assigned to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and the Patrol Division. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2007. As a Sergeant, he was assigned to the Patrol Division. In 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, serving as a Watch Commander in the Patrol Division.
Deputy Chief Kedziora became a member of the Will County Sheriff’s Police SWAT team in 2005. He served as a tactical team member, working his way up to a team leader position, and currently serves as the Commander of Operations. Deputy Chief Kedziora served as a member of the ILEAS region 3 Weapons of Mass Destruction Special Response Team from 2007 to 2016. Beginning as a team member, and later rising to the position of team leader.
In 2003, Deputy Chief Kedziora received a Life Saving Award, and was the recipient of a Distinguished Service Award in 2007. Deputy Chief Kedziora graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and is also a graduate of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, Supervision of Police Personnel.
Deputy Chief – Special Operations
Daniel Jungles
Deputy Chief Dan Jungles has been a member of the Will County Sheriff’s Office since July of 1999. Deputy Chief Jungles has been assigned to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, Patrol Division, and the Criminal Investigations Division. He has spent the majority of his career assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division as a Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and now Deputy Chief. He was a certified Computer Forensic Examiner and founding member of the Will County Sheriff’s Police High Tech Crime Unit.
Deputy Chief Jungles was promoted to the Rank of Sergeant in 2011. After being promoted, he was assigned to the Patrol Division for approximately 2 years and then transferred back to the Criminal Investigations Division. In 2016, he was promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant and took command of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Deputy Chief Jungles is a recipient of numerous Will County Sheriff’s Office awards and commendations including the Medal of Valor, Meritorious Service, and Unit Award. Deputy Chief Jungles graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is also a graduate of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, Supervision of Police Personnel.
Deputy Chief – Support Services
Jeremy Viduna
Deputy Chief Jeremy Viduna started his career in Law Enforcement in January of 1999. He has been a member of the Will County Sheriff’s Office since 2008. As a Deputy, he was assigned to patrol and criminal investigations. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2014. As a Sergeant, he was assigned to patrol, Internal Affairs, and Criminal Investigations.
Deputy Chief Viduna graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree. He also served in the United States Army Reserves as a Military Police Officer.
In 2012, Deputy Chief Viduna received the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, “Most Outstanding Officer of the Year Award.” He also received numerous other awards to include the Sheriff’s Award for Supervisory Excellence, Life Saving Award, Meritorious Service Award, and Unit Award.
In 2017, Deputy Chief Viduna was elected by his peers to the Executive Board for the National Internal Affairs Investigators Association, helping to provide valuable training and resources to Law Enforcement professionals across the nation.
Deputy Chief – Adult Detention
Richard Mata
Deputy Chief Richard Mata started his career with the Will County Sheriff’s Office in 2008 as a Deputy Correctional Officer. He was promoted to Correctional Sergeant in 2018, and Correctional Lieutenant in 2021.
Throughout his career, Deputy Chief Mata has been a member of the Will County Sheriff’s Honor Guard and received the Sheriff’s Unit Award during his time with the team. He was a Field Training Officer as a Deputy Correctional Officer, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He oversaw training for all staff assigned to the WCADF while assigned as the Training Sergeant.

Deputy Chief – Adult Detention
Doreice Burse
Deputy Chief Doreice Burse began her career with the Will County Sheriff’s Office in 1998. She was promoted to Correctional Sergeant in 2004 and Correctional Lieutenant in 2014. She has earned the Correctional Supervisor of the Year and Distinguished Service award as well as various Unit Awards. In 2011, Burse became the Classification Sergeant which she was responsible for inmate housing and inmate concerns. She also was a Field Training Officer. Lieutenant Burse completed the Supervision of Police Personnel course at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.
